The hotel, lovely inside and out. Beautiful ambiance in the eating area outside. I was travelling with my grown-up son (not quite a group - see below). We had two double rooms.
The meal was quite good but quite expensive for what it was.

We loved the courtyard garden and outdoor resturant. The position on the riverside of this wonderful old town is superb. A lovely break.

Location, surrounding, feeling to leave in the past
Seems owner does not want rot want to spend money to keep location up to common standards

Closeness to a campsite where the rest of our family were staying for a holiday. Closeness of the hotel to Sommieres town to walk into and explore. Staff are very friendly and the hotel food is excellent. Small pool and lounging area for relaxing.
They need to clean the shower better to remove general yellow mould stains from the corners of the shower floor. The rooms are large but there are no lounging chairs in the bedroom which would make it more relaxing.

Close to town centre, attractively furnished with antique furniture, comfortable.
Usable but temperamental shower. Hotel restaurant very expensive. Bar not open at all in the week we were there. Outside area rather scruffy and untidy - overflowing ashtrays etc.

I loved my small sweet room overlooking the courtyard. I loved the quiet!! The food was very good. I wish the breakfasts had been a little more substantial, and had a little more choice. I loved how pretty the dining room looked. I loved the little bar area. I appreciated that there was an elevator. And I loved how friendly and helpful the staff was. Thanks for a lovely stay.

This inn is within walking distance of the beautiful and charming village of Sommiers. We spent 2 delightful nights. The surroundings are quiet and calming. Our room was spacious and charming. It is a 40 minute drive to Nimes. A great location for daytrips to Provence and Camargue. Gourmet restaurant with superb wines.
Booked.net stated wifi throughout the facility on their website and on my reservation. The Auberge website didn't state wifi or not. I adore the location and appearance of the Auberge Du Pont Romain. Sadly, we were on a working holiday and needed wifi in our room, even if for a fee. We would have stayed 5 nights with working wifi.
